Account deletion

How to delete your GutGuardian account

GutGuardian lets you permanently delete your account and associated cloud data.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open GutGuardian and go to Profile > Settings.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm the deletion when the app asks you to proceed.

What happens after deletion

Your Firebase Authentication identity and the profile, progress, streak, training history, and billing entitlement records stored under your account are deleted. Local app data is cleared on the device. Completed deletion cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in your store subscription settings.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@cappriola.com from the address linked to your account with "GutGuardian account deletion" in the subject. We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion. Requests are normally completed within 15 business days unless retention is legally required.
