Privacy Policy
Blessing: Bíblia Sagrada
Last updated: October 9, 2026
About this policy
This policy describes how the app Blessing: Bíblia Sagrada handles user data. It complements the Cappriola general Privacy Policy — read both to understand the full scope.
In case of conflict between this specific policy and the general one, this one prevails for the Blessing: Bíblia Sagrada app.
Usage analytics and diagnostics
Blessing uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure screens viewed, home shortcuts, support subscription screens, purchases and purchase restoration. Events may include technical device information and an app-instance identifier. These identifiers can distinguish an installation; this data is not necessarily anonymous. Firebase also derives approximate location from the device’s masked IP address.
The app also records its Catholic, Evangelical or unspecified edition and Supporter status as analytics properties. The edition describes the app configuration, not a declaration of your personal religious beliefs. Apple and Google may provide store and crash diagnostics under their own policies.
Campaign measurement and Meta
Blessing uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure installation and campaign performance and support advertising, including personalized ads on Meta services. When enabled, the SDK automatically sends events such as app launches and activations and eligible in-app purchases, with purchase information such as product, value and currency. Meta may receive advertising or other device identifiers, IP address and technical device/app information, and may associate this activity with information it holds, including a Meta account. When enabled, the Meta SDK may also process crash diagnostics and other technical data for analytics and SDK functionality.
This is sharing with a third party for advertising and measurement. Blessing does not offer Facebook login or attach your email, Bible text, search terms, notes or religious-edition analytics property to custom Meta events. The app does not manually log scripture reading or search events to Meta.
Tracking choices
On iOS, the Meta SDK initializes and logs events only after you authorize App Tracking Transparency. If authorization is denied or restricted, the app does not initialize the Meta SDK or send its events. You can change tracking permission in iOS privacy settings and continue using Blessing without authorizing tracking.
On Android, Meta automatic event logging is enabled when the app starts. There is no in-app switch to disable Meta event collection in this version. Android privacy settings may let you limit or delete your advertising ID; doing so does not necessarily stop event collection. Your Meta account privacy settings can also affect how Meta uses information from other apps.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple App Store or Google Play processes purchases and payment information. Blessing receives product, transaction and subscription-entitlement information to activate Supporter benefits and restore purchases. Cappriola does not receive your full card details or store password. Manage cancellation and refunds through the store where you purchased. Purchase events may also be processed by the analytics and campaign services described above.
Storage, retention and privacy requests
Bookmarks, personal notes, reading position and preferences are stored on your device. They are not sent as Meta event content. Removing the app can remove its local data, but does not automatically delete data already received by analytics, advertising or store services.
Analytics and campaign data retention depends on the applicable service settings and policies; it should not be assumed to end when you uninstall. For access, correction, deletion or consent requests, contact privacy@cappriola.com with Blessing in the subject. We assess requests under applicable law and the identifiers available to us. For information held by Meta or Google under their own services, their privacy policies explain additional controls and request channels.
Device permissions
Blessing may request notification permission for reminders and, on iOS, tracking permission as described above. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Denying tracking permission does not block Bible reading.
Service privacy information
