How to choose a strong password
Understand length, randomness, reuse and why a password manager helps.

Length matters
Long random passwords are usually stronger than short passwords with predictable substitutions. Important accounts deserve long, unique passwords.
Do not reuse passwords
If one service leaks a reused password, attackers may try it elsewhere. Each account should have its own password.
Use a password manager
A password manager stores long passwords so you do not have to memorize them. Turn on two-factor authentication when available.
