GutGuardian Terms of Use

By downloading, accessing, or using GutGuardian, you agree to these Terms and to Cappriola's general Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

If these GutGuardian-specific Terms conflict with Cappriola's general Terms, these Terms control for GutGuardian.

GutGuardian helps you log meals, symptoms, mood, energy, hydration, and related notes. It may use AI-assisted features to estimate meal composition, summarize patterns, and suggest simple wellness observations.

The app is for personal tracking and educational wellness support only. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or medical advice.

AI outputs, scores, insights, and suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing them before relying on them.

Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking care because of anything shown in GutGuardian. For medical concerns, allergies, digestive disorders, pregnancy, eating disorders, medication questions, or emergencies, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.

You may add meal photos, descriptions, symptoms, and other personal entries. You retain ownership of your content, but grant Cappriola the permission needed to store, process, sync, display, and analyze it so the app can function.

GutGuardian may use services such as Supabase, Firebase, RevenueCat, and AI providers to operate app features. Data handling is described in the GutGuardian Privacy Policy.

GutGuardian may offer paid features, in-app purchases, trials, or subscriptions. Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play according to the store account you used.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account before the renewal date.

You agree not to misuse GutGuardian, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer the app, bypass payment or access controls, upload unlawful content, or use the app to violate the rights of others.

You are responsible for ensuring that any photos, notes, or other content you add are lawful and that you have the right to use them.

We work to keep GutGuardian useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

GutGuardian is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cappriola disclaims warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cappriola is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or health-related damages arising from use of or reliance on the app.

You may stop using GutGuardian at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil are chosen to resolve disputes, except where consumer protection law requires another venue.
